Privileges Required to Use Core Platform Functions
To use Core Platform Functions definitions, you need one of the following:
scheduler-administrator
orredwood-administrator
role- system or Partition-level permissions
- object-specific privileges
Using Definitions
The following privilege ranks are required for the definitions:
- View - on Partitions GLOBAL, REDWOOD and the Partition(s) of the Queue and Job Server.
- View - on the Application GLOBAL.Redwood.REDWOOD.Core_Platform_Functions.
- Run - on Job Definitions REDWOOD.Redwood_Core_CopyFile, REDWOOD.Redwood_Core_DeleteFile, REDWOOD.Redwood_Core_DirectoryListing, and/or REDWOOD.Redwood_Core_MoveFile.
- Submit and View - allows you to submit and view processes in the Queue used by the Platform Agent.
- View - on the Job Server used by the Platform Agent.
You always need View privileges on the Partition of the Queue.
Built-in Roles
- The
scheduler-administrator
orredwood-administrator
built-in role provides full control over Queues. - The
scheduler-viewer
built-in role provides read-only access to Queues.
