Privileges Required to Use the SAP S/4 Application Jobs Connector

To use the SAP S/4 Application Jobs Connector, you need one of the following:

  • scheduler-administrator or redwood-administrator role.
  • scheduler-user or redwood-login role in combination with the following system-wide, Partition-wide or object-level privileges.

Built-in Roles

  • The scheduler-administrator or redwood-administrator built-in role provides full control over all Application Jobs connections.

Creating and Modifying Application Jobs Connections

You need all of the following privilege ranks to be able to create and modify Application Jobs connections:

  • View - on Partitions GLOBAL and REDWOOD.
  • View - on Redwood / SAP / S4HANAApplicationJob Applications.
  • View - on the REDWOOD.Redwood_S4ApplicationJobConnection Extension Point.
  • View - on the existing Application Jobs Job Server and Queue, if applicable.
  • Create - on Job Server and Queue if a new Job Server and Queue are required.
  • View - on EXTObjectRefs.

Using the SAP S/4 Application Jobs Connector

You need all of the following privilege ranks to be able to use this Connector:

  • View - on Partitions GLOBAL and REDWOOD.
  • View - on Application GLOBAL.Redwood.GLOBAL.SAP.REDWOOD.S4HANAApplicationJob.
  • View - on the REDWOOD.Redwood_S4ApplicationJobConnection Extension Point.
  • Edit - on SAJConnection. This object is modified when the token gets updated.
  • View - on the REDWOOD.Redwood_S4ApplicationJobConnectionConstraint constraint definition.
  • View - on REDWOOD.Redwood_S4ApplicationJob library.
  • Run - on Job Definitions REDWOOD.Redwood_S4AJ_ImportJobTemplate, REDWOOD.Redwood_S4AJ_ShowApplicationJobs, REDWOOD.Redwood_S4AJ_SubmitApplicationJob, and/or REDWOOD.Redwood_S4AJ_Template (depending on the functionality you want).
  • View - on the Job Server of the Application Jobs connection.
  • JobAdministrator - on the Queue of the Application Jobs component.
  • View - on EXTObjectRefs.

Deleting Application Jobs Connections

  • View - on Partitions GLOBAL and REDWOOD.
  • View - on Applications GLOBAL.Redwood.GLOBAL.SAP.REDWOOD.S4HANAApplicationJob and REDWOOD.
