Privileges Required to Use the SLA Extension
To use the SLA Extension, you need one of the following:
scheduler-administrator
orredwood-administrator
role.scheduler-user
orredwood-login
role in combination with the following system-wide, Partition-wide or object-level privileges.
Built-in Roles

built-in role provides full control over the SLA Extension.
Creating an SLA Rule
- View - on Partition REDWOOD.
- View - on library REDWOOD.Custom_SLA.
- View - on datum definition REDWOOD.SLA_LastAlert.
- View - on datum definition REDWOOD.SLA_StartAlert.
- View - on the Job Definition for which you wish to set up the alert.
- View Process - on all Queues of the processes for which you want to set up the alert.
- View - on the Extension Point object definition at the Partition, System, or Object level, to enable the SLA component icons at the top of the window.
Setting up SLA
- View - on Partition REDWOOD.
- View - on library REDWOOD.Custom_SLA.
- View - on datum definition REDWOOD.SLA_LastAlert.
- View - on datum definition REDWOOD.SLA_StartAlert.
- Run - on Job Definition REDWOOD.SLA_Maintenance.
- Run - on Job Definition REDWOOD.SLA_Monitor.
- JobAdministrator - on a Queue that has a Job Server that can run the Job Definition.
- View - on a Job Server that can run the Job Definitions.
