Creating a Boomi Connection

To create a Connection to Boomi:

1. Locate the Boomi Connector in the Catalog and install it.
2. Navigate to Configure > Extensions > Connections.
3. Click .

4. Click the Boomi Connection type.

5. Click Next or Basic Properties. Enter a Name and Description and select a Partition.

6. Create a Queue and Job Server for the connector. All required settings will be configured automatically.

7. Click Next or Security, then click to specify which roles can access the connection information.
8. Click Next or Boomi Properties.
   

9. There are two options for specifying credentials.

   • To use basic authentication, click Basic or choose it from the Connection Type dropdown list, then enter the Account Id, Username, and Password.

   • To use API token authentication, click API Token or choose it from the Connection Type dropdown list, then enter the Account Id, Username, and API token.

10. Click Save & Close.
    

11. Navigate to Configure > Control > Process Servers and locate the Boomi Process Server. If it is not in status Running, right-click it and choose Start, then make sure it reaches status Running.
