Promoting Connectors and Operations

To export a Connector, navigate to Configure > Extensions > Connector Wizard, then right-click the Connector and choose either Export > Export or Export > Export with related objects.

• Export: Exports all Operations and Job Definitions associated with the Connector. However, Objects used by the Job Definitions (such as Folders, Partitions, Advanced Schedules, etc.) are not exported.

• Export with related objects: Exports all Operations and Job Definitions, including any Objects used by Job Definitions (such as Folders, Partitions, Advanced Schedules, etc.).

Warning: If you export a Job Definition that was generated from an Operation, but you do not include the parent Connector and Operation, the Job Definition will not work because it requires its parent Connector and Operation. For best results, always export the Connector itself (with or without its related Objects), or make sure the target RunMyJobs instance already has the parent Connector and Operation.
